Cheyenne Coxon

The focus of Cheyenne’s coaching approach is to help people reconnect to what is important to them, navigate change and complexity with more ease, and problem solve with more curiosity. Conversations balance support with challenge and help clients identify sources of inner conflict, explore patterns, assumptions, and possibilities, and see through distractions that can make decisions feel more difficult.

Cheyenne is rigorously trained and practiced in developmental coaching at ICF’s PCC level (ACC certification in progress, then PCC). When working with her, you can expect to: explore how to get yourself unstuck, (re)connect to your values, question assumptions, consider new perspectives, increase awareness, notice and shift patterns, grow into a stronger leader and partner of any kind, and do all that hard work with some levity.

Cheyenne founded Tend the Sparks Consulting after fifteen years in environmental conservation, almost ten in leadership roles, where she learned to navigate complexity under pressure and help others do the same. Her work in organizational change, facilitation, and developmental and executive coaching draws on that background, including her practice of biomimicry: applying nature’s patterns, cycles, interconnectedness, and resilience to how people build relationships and strengthen their work. She lives in Portland, Oregon.
